Fun Dome
Our on-site, huge indoor Fun Dome with heated pool, whirlpool, ping-pong, billiards, air hockey, and video games is a wonderful location for sports teams, family gatherings, and retreats.

The Angel Museum
Restore your soul as you walk among the largest privately held angel collection in the world-the Berg Collection. Listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, and visited by people from around the world, the Angel Museum displays several thousand of the more than 12,000 Angels in the Berg collection and the more than 900 black angels donated by TV host Oprah Winfrey. Displays rotate several times a year. Groups may enjoy lunch or dessert in A Taste of Heaven Café by special arrangement. Make sure to visit the Heavenly Treasures Gift Shop and take home ‘a little bit of heaven’.

Beckman Mill
Bring a picnic lunch and sip lemonade by the ‘old mill stream’ after you tour Beckman Mill. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Beckman Mill is one of Wisconsin’s only restored, working gristmills. Built in 1868, the mill has been restored to how it looked and operated in its hay days of the 1920’s. The mill also has a newly rebuilt dam, a one-of-a-kind fish ladder, picnic area with shelter, and wildflower garden. A must visit during Heritage Days in the fall.

Hanchett-Bartlett Homestead
Step back in time and view how life was in the Mid-1800’s in this artfully restored 1857 Victorian homestead, barn, and 1873 one-room schoolhouse. Fine period furnishings and a newly restored kitchen show how ‘the upper middle class’ lived at the turn of the century. In the fall, Heritage Days offer a full weekend of fun.

Beloit Historical Society Lincoln Center
One visit to the Beloit Historical Society Lincoln Center allows you to immerse yourself in Beloit area history through changing exhibits at the Solem Museum. You can pay homage to Beloit athletes in the Ted Perring Sports Hall of Fame and visit the Arthur Missner Veterans Gallery. The Historical Society also sponsors numerous programs, events and workshops throughout the year.

Logan Museum of Anthropology
View artifacts from around the world at the internationally renowned Logan Museum of Anthropology. Displays include Native American baskets, Pre-Columbian and Prehistoric Native American ceramics and archaeological specimens from the Beloit vicinity. Roy Chapman Andrews is a significant figure in the history of the Logan Museum, and is one of the College’s most famous alumnus explorers. Many believe that Andrews was the model for the popular ‘Indiana Jones’ character because of his lifelong adventures.

Wright Museum of Fine Art
Appreciate the beautiful architecture of the Wright Museum, as well as the fine art displayed. More than a dozen exhibitions, drawn from the permanent collection, regional and student artists, and national touring shows fill the galleries year round.

Stone Water Tower and Water Works Pump House
Make sure to stop at the Water Works Pump House Visitor Information Center while visiting Beloit. Built in 1885, the pump house was the site of Beloit’s first municipal water system. Restored in 1992, it houses Visit Beloit, The Friends of the Riverfront and the offices of Riverfest-one of Wisconsin’s largest music festivals-annually held the second weekend in July. Built in 1889, and on the National Register of Historic Places, the stone tower is a visible community landmark and a great photo opportunity for camera buffs.

Beloit Snappers
America’s favorite pastime at it’s best! Enjoy major league fun at minor league prices at a Beloit Snapper’s game, the Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Groups of 25 or more can ‘Tailgate’ without the car in the catered picnic area with advance reservations. Season runs April through early September. Beloit College Campus
Established in 1846 (two years before Wisconsin became a State), Beloit College is Wisconsin’s oldest college in continuous service. A walking tour of the 40-acre, wooded, New England style campus reveals 28 buildings of diverse architectural styles; four are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Blackhawk Farms Raceway
Road racing enthusiasts enjoy regular visits to Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Beautifully situated just minutes from South Beloit, the seven turn, two mile asphalt course challenges both amateur and professional drivers. Spectators enjoy sports car, motorcycle and go-cart racing weekends. Don’t miss the Blackhawk Vintage Classic on Father’s Day weekend which features vintage cars and classic airplanes. Fans savor the racing and flying heritage of these vintage machines as they watch the cars race on track and view the aircraft close up.

Tiffany Bridge
Marvel at the world’s only remaining five-arch stone railway bridge. Built using hand labor in 1869, the 388-foot bridge spans Turtle Creek and provides camera buffs picturesque vistas year round.

Historic Auto Attraction
Take a journey through time where history and entertainment meet. Enjoy more than 70 historic vehicles and hundreds of pieces of history that take you beyond the concept of most auto museums. Travel from the old west days to the days of Al Capone and Bonnie & Clyde to TV land, legends of racing, famous cars & famous stars, and more. You will be amazed at this collection of historical facts and memorabilia. You will be transported to the day President Kennedy was assassinated. See the chair that President Lincoln sat in his famous portrait, the dress worn by Marilyn Monroe, the 1976 Bicentennial money car & Jonny Cash's "One Piece At A Time Car", Batmobiles, Charlies's Angels, Sanford & Son, Flintstone's and more! Bushnell Wheeler House
Step back into time as you enter the newly restored 1850’s Bushnell Wheeler House situated high on the bluffs overlooking South Beloit and Beloit. The South Beloit Historical Society makes its home here and has lovingly reclaimed the beauty of this historic Italian Villa and its sloping grounds. Original furniture long gone from the home has found its way back, along with other period pieces, showcasing the beauty of a time long passed. Also on display are the stories and inventions which are unique to the history of South Beloit; the evolution of the speedometer, the electric brake and even the story of the “happy accident”, the discovery of the Korn Kurl. Group tours are welcome by appointment. Be sure to visit the artfully appointed house during the holidays and then come back to enjoy homemade ice-cream on the lawns during the annual Summer Social.
